Happy Friday, And just like that, the jar is neither half full or half empty - it was perfectly sized for its contents!I hope you’ve enjoyed the positive quotes, as much as I’ve enjoyed sharing them with you. This quote emphasises the importance of taking risks and trying, rather than being held back by fear of failure. It’s coming home, it’s coming home! 🏴🏴🏴🏴I think there will be a lot of sore heads Monday morning… keep the faith 🦁🦁🦁

Confidence has many names: conviction, trust, assurance, sureness, faith and more. Favored among them for me is positive energy. It goes with everything!I wrote a brief read five years ago and thought to re-share with you. The words are as true now as they were then. May they feed you with inspiration, motivation, zest and positive energy on this wonderful Wednesday!https://lnkd.in/enPrEB_f

Where Are You In Your Story?Good Friday is a special day for Christians around the world. It's the day we remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. But why is it called "good" if it's about such a sad event? My daily rhythm of starting the day in my focus and productivity planner was met with a pleasant surprise. Today’s quote happened to be right in line with what Good Friday is all about. The picture posted is today's page with the quote from the acclaimed director, actor and producer, Orson Welles."If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story."On Good Friday, the story seems to stop at a sad moment, but it's not the end. Just like in a movie where the hero faces a tough challenge before things get better, Good Friday is the unfortunate before the unbelievable happens. The quote reminds us that Good Friday is not the end of the story. The story turns on its head on Sunday when Jesus rises from the dead. This is what we hope for and what gives us hope. As an executive coach, I strive to help others realize the fullness of their own stories despite the high and lows. Just as Good Friday is not the end of the story for Christians, the challenges we face are not the end of our personal stories. We need to keep adding to our story, to have hope, and to keep going despite the hardships and obstacles. Just like Easter Sunday turns the story on its head, there are always new chapters waiting to be written in our lives, so keep adding to the story!#GoodFriday #Hope #Faith #KeepGoing #NeverGiveUp #NewBeginnings #StoryContinues

Negativity may seem like a weapon against the world, but in reality, it's a knife that cuts deepest into ourselves.Just as holding onto positive emotions such as kindness, gratitude, compassion can bring us good healing, holding onto negativity can have the opposite effect. It can bring more harm and even more suffering. As Lewis B. Smedes said, 'to forgive is to set a prisoner free and to discover that the prisoner was you! When we understand that holding onto negativity is like carrying an emotional weight throughout our lives, we can begin to see why letting go is so easily recommended and also the easiest means to move faster. To hold grudge against a person is to carry an emotional weight that's not yours. A weight that, sooner or later, will pull you to depths.Do you want to read more tips on how to become better and manage your emotions intelligently ? 📌THE WORD FOR TODAY*Your Daily Devotional FRIDAY June 28, 2024Why Do We Resist Change?-Part 3What happens when you try to implement change at the wrong time? For that matter, when is the right time to do it? From a leadership perspective, there are actually better times than others to make changes. Dr John Maxwell, who wrote the best seller The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, says: ‘I developed a checklist to help me navigate the process: Will this change compatible with the purpose of the organization? Is this change specific and clear? Are the top 20 per cent (the influencers) in favor of it? Is it possible to test this change before making a total commitment to it? Are physical, financial, and human resources available to make this change? Is it reversible? Does it have both short and long term benefits? Is the leadership capable of bringing about this change? Does everything else indicate the timing is right? Before implementing a big change, I run through this checklist and answer each question with a yes or no. If too many questions have a no by them, then I conclude that the timing may not be right.’ Timing is so important. The Bible says: ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: He has made everything beautiful in its time.’ (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11NIV). If you’re thinking of making a change, talk to God and ask Him 1) what should I do? and 2) when should I do it? Then step out in faith and trust Him to guide you!*based on the book The Word for You Today by Bob Gass, available on Amazon; abridged by David Brown to reflect the unconditional Love and Grace of God.

The meaning of listen to your heart can vary depending on the context and the person who says it. However, in general, it means to follow your intuition and emotions, rather than your logic or reason. It implies that you have an inner voice or guidance that knows what is best for you, even if it goes against what others might say or expect from you. Some possible situations where someone might tell you to listen to your heart are:- When you are facing a difficult decision and you are unsure of what to do.- When you are in love with someone who may not be accepted by your family or society.- When you have a passion or a dream that you want to pursue, but you are afraid of failure or criticism.- When you are feeling unhappy or dissatisfied with your current situation and you want to make a change.Listening to your heart can help you find your true happiness and purpose in life, but it can also involve some risks and challenges. You may have to face some opposition, rejection, or disappointment along the way. You may also have to sacrifice some comfort, security, or stability for your heart’s desire. Therefore, listening to your heart requires courage, faith, and perseverance.#motivationalquote #inspirationalquote #wisdomquotes #lifelesson #positivemind #positivethoughts

To get to heaven, you must change your heart. Stop ridiculing, critizising, shaming, blaming, guilting, being selfish, greedy and vain. Stop committing acts that do others wrong and spewing out hateful words that cut like knives. Start taking accountability for your actions and/or words that harm others even if unintentional. We don’t get to decide whether we hurt another’s feelings or not. None of us come with in and off buttons for any one of our emotions. If you hurt them, tell them you’re sorry, explain to them you didnt intentionally mean to and understand why it hurt them. All, so you don’t repeat the same mistake and don’t have to continue to apologize for the same damn thing.learn from your mistakes by educating yourself with the lessons you learned from each, why did you make it, how did you make, and what do you need to change.
